It’s all about the cows and is the most fabulous and newest holiday attraction on the Isle of Wight. Tapnell Farm has it all: indoor play frame, animals and petting barn, racing track, straw bale play area, huge tennis court-sized bouncy pillow and a top class restaurant and cool accommodation.

Covid-19 Update: Customer and staff safety is Tapnell Farm Park's highest priority and whilst they aim for your stay with them to be as ‘normal’ as possible, additional hygiene and safety measures have been put in place for everyone’s peace of mind. These include taking non contact temperature readings on arrival, as a condition of entry to the Farm Park.

In line with Government guidelines, the indoor soft play, roller skating and café are currently closed. The animal talks, feeding and petting sessions are also currently on hold. Please check their website for details, faq's and updates.

Set in beautiful countryside, surrounded by amazing views of the Island and Solent, Tapnell Farm Park is one of the Island’s biggest all-weather, fun-filled family attractions.

The Cow Restaurant &  Bar onsite is one of the most unique places to eat on the Island, set in a converted Swiss barn in the heart of Tapnell Farm, with plenty of outdoor seating and stunning views across the Downs and Solent.

The Cow is open daily from 12nooon – 9pm with a new menu that focuses on award-winning burgers and salads.  All orders are made and paid for using The Cow at Tapnell Farm App which can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store.   Please see website for menu and details:

  • Tapnell Farm Park are significantly reducing the number of visitors to manage social distancing.    

  • Opening times. They will be operating 2 three-hour sessions; morning 10am –1pm and afternoon 2pm – 5pm.   The Farm Park will be closed completely between 1pm – 2pm to allow for cleaning.

  • During the summer holidays, they will also be open on Thursday evenings (30 July – 27 August).  Sessions times are different on these days: morning (9.30am – 12.30pm), afternoon (1.30pm – 4.30pm), evening (5.30pm – 8.30pm).  They will be closed between each session for cleaning.

  • All tickets must be purchased online in advance – and specific day/session booked at same time.

  • If a visitor wants to stay all day, they will need to book a separate morning and afternoon session, but will need to vacate the farm park between 1pm – 2pm.  The Cow restaurant on-site is open and operating a ‘take-away’ service with seating outside.

  • All visitors (aged 5+) will need have a non-contact temperature reading on arrival.  If any visitor has two consecutive temperature readings of 37.8C or more, then that visitor and the group they travelled with, will not be allowed entry to the Farm Park and an online refund will be given.
