Buddle Place, dating from 18th Century and standing in the grounds of a Grade II Listed Farmhouse, is just a few hundred yards from the sea at St Catherines Point, with its famous lighthouse surrounded by National Trust downland. Offering two delightful, recently renovated stone built cottages, The Stable sleeping 6 and The Barn, sleeping 4. The Village of Niton is within walking distance where there is a post office/tea room, grocer, pub and chemist and the Spa town of Ventnor is just a 10 minute drive away.
The Stable is all on one level and sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms with a light spacious and contemporary feel to it with bleached floors and rugs throughout. 1 double ensuite room and 2 with twin beds along with a family bathroom. Large sitting / dining room with sofa's, dining table and chairs and newly fitted kitchen. Secluded south facing garden with views of the sea with a lawn and patio area. Pets not accepted.
The Barn is also contempory in style and sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There are lovely views of the English Channel from the first floor bedrooms, one is a king size double and the second has twin beds, also a toilet with basin. On the ground floor is a family bathroom, a bespoke kitchen, dining area and separate living area. French doors lead out to the secluded garden and patio with sea glimpses. (One dog accepted with prior arrangement - charged at £30 per stay - payable locally)
Both have Freesat TV and DVD player. Gas and electricity included. Bed linen and towels included. Off street parking available for one car per cottage in the cobbled yard with additional parking available on the road. Children of all ages welcome.
Open: all year | Minimum number of nights: The Barn 7 night stays starting on a Saturday. The Stable 7 night stays starting on a Friday. Short Breaks: 3 or 4 night stays may be available from between January - late March
