Silver 'Investor in People' accreditation
13 December 2017 – Red Funnel Ferries, the Isle of Wight Specialist has been awarded Silver accreditation against the new international Investors in People Standard for people management.
Investors in People is the internationally recognised standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. It is held by 14,000 organisations across 75 countries although only 10% have achieved Silver accreditation against the new standard.
Underpinning the Investors in People standard is a framework which reflects the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures which are required by businesses who wish to outperform in any industry sector. Investors in People also enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
