03-11-2016 – Red Funnel is inviting people to the Isle of Wight to get into the festive spirit just in time for Christmas with the return of its popular Cowes Christmas Festival on 17 and 18 December.
The free event, sponsored and produced by the ferry company, will bring the best local food and drink, arts and crafts all together at Cowes Yacht Haven's events centre on the Isle of Wight.
The festival will have activities for people of all ages to get into the festive spirit. For people looking for last minute Christmas gifts, unique items will be available from over 60 Isle of Wight food, drink, arts and crafts stalls to help everyone find the perfect present. Children can visit Father Christmas at his grotto and will be enthralled with free Christmas crafts. All of this excitement will take place in a cheery atmosphere with live music ringing through the air.
Festival visitors can also learn to cook the perfect Christmas meal by watching live cookery demonstrations from talented local chefs at the interactive cookery theatre. Samples of the dishes will be available after the demonstrations for anyone hoping to try a nibble of the chef's dishes.
Red Funnel will be offering a special 2 for £13 deal on its Red Jet fast ferry service, making sure that it easy for everyone to join in on the festive fun.
