Red Funnel appoints two new Board Directors
29-01-2008 Red Funnel, the Isle of Wight specialist, has made two new appointments to the Board of Directors; Jonathan Green has been appointed Sales and Marketing Director and Murray Carter has been appointed Commercial Operations Director.
Jonathan Green, who joined Red Funnel from port operator ABP in 2000, has been promoted to Sales and Marketing Director from the position of Head of Marketing and Communications. In his new role, Green gains responsibility for sales in addition to marketing and communications. He will help ensure further awareness of the Red Funnel brand and oversee a widening of the Company’s product range in order to cater to the needs of customers.
Murray Carter is now in his 2nd year at Red Funnel and has been promoted from Head of Food and Beverage to Commercial Operations Director. Carter will be responsible for all food and beverage retail operations, terminal related services, ticketing, call centre and check-in operations and his role is key in ensuring that customer satisfaction remains high on the list of priorities at Red Funnel.

Changes to the board include the departure of Colin Hetherington, Commercial Director who has now left the Company by mutual consent to pursue other interests.
