Paul McCartney confirmed for Isle of Wight Festival

03-03-2010 The legendary Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed that he will be headlining the Main Stage at The Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday 13 June.

With an extensive back catalogue of hits, from The Beatles to his solo career, his set promises to be a fantastic close to the three-day music extravaganza which will also host a wealth of international superstars including Jay-Z, The Strokes, Blondie, Pink, Florence and the Machine, Biffy Clyro and Vampire Weekend.

The Isle of Wight Festival is the first of 2010’s major music festivals and takes place in Seaclose Park from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 June. Tickets are available from Red Funnel Weekend tickets including camping are £163.50 for adults and £82.50 for children. Children 6 and under are free but must be booked with at least one adult ticket. Non-camping tickets are available for £143.50 for adults and £72.50 for children. All prices include booking fee and secure postage.
