New accommodation brochure launched with Red Hot Price Promise
13-01-2005 Red Funnel Holidays is launching its 2005 holidays programme with a Red Hot price promise that guarantees that if the customer can get a cheaper deal by booking the accommodation and ferry travel separately, Red Funnel will match the overall package price. This ensures consumers booking an Isle of Wight break can be confident they are getting the best value for money.
Over the last three years the island has changed dramatically and the new Red Funnel Holidays brochure includes the very best of what this exciting destination has to offer. New properties have been added to the programme such as the Johansens recommended Wellington Hotel that opened in Ventnor in 2004 offering the stylish set fabulous food, great rooms and excellent service. The Leconfield in the historic village of Bonchurch, the Clifton Hotel overlooking Sandown Bay, and the Cliff Hall Hotel above Shanklin Beach have also been added offering panoramic sea views from the bedrooms and a high standard of accommodation.
The range of outdoor activities to be tried on the Isle of Wight is also attracting more visitors than ever before, and in 2005 Red Funnel continues to offer the most comprehensive choice to those booking an island break. Activities include mountain biking, kitesurfing, and powerboating to appeal to adrenalin junkies; sailing and windsurfing for the water babies; and walking, golf, garden and cycling packages for those wanting to take life at a more leisurely pace.
Red Funnel Holidays is also continuing to sell dedicated packages to some of the island’s best events. The annual Nokia Isle of Wight Festival in June looks set to rock the island with big name bands again this year, and packages are already on sale. The Red Funnel Holidays team is also on hand to help customers book breaks for a number of other fantastic events held this year including the Walking Festival and Craft and Garden Show in May, the Round the Island Race in June, Skandia Cowes Week in August and the Fat Face White Air extreme sports festival in October.
