Red Funnel Nominated for Five Customer Service Awards

12-05-2016 Red Funnel is shortlisted in five categories of the London & South East Contact Centre Forum Awards for its outstanding customer service and use of technology.

The company has been nominated in all four team categories available: Support Team of the Year, Complaints Management Team of the Year, Customer Experience Team of the Year and Social Media Customer Service Team of the Year. It has also been nominated in the Best Use of Technology category.

To qualify for each category, Red Funnel had to demonstrate exceptional customer service performance, passion, innovation and a commitment to meet business challenges and support of training and recruitment programmes. It also recognises the ferry company's engaged and empowered frontline staff, their enthusiasm, energy and professionalism, and positive working environment.

The Best Use of Technology Category celebrates Red Funnel's innovative use of technology to exceed customer experience targets, performance targets  and to improve employee engagement and productivity.

The winners will be announced on 20 May following a short presentation from Red Funnel in front of a panel for each category, during the week commencing 9 May 2016.
