For an adrenaline packed weekend, visitors can head to the Cowes Powerboat Festival taking place during the August bank holiday, 28 - 30 August. Often referred to as the Formula 1 of the sea, powerboating is an exhilarating and glamorous spectator sport. This year sees the return of the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes powerboat race, recognised as one of the toughest challenges in the world of powerboating. The Honda F4SA Powerboat series will also be holding the Cowes Grand Prix, ensuring there is plenty to see and do on and off the water.
