Set amongst the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside, The Wight Land Rover Campout is a brand-new weekend gathering for overland and 4x4 enthusiasts. Taking place from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2026 at the award-winning Retro Staycations, this relaxed and family-friendly campout welcomes all 4x4 vehicles with rooftop tents/trailer tents – not just Land Rovers.
Whether you're travelling with a fully built overland rig or simply enjoy camping alongside like-minded adventurers, the weekend promises a friendly atmosphere, great conversation and plenty of opportunity to unwind in a stunning setting. Ticket holders can arrive from midday on Friday, settle in, and enjoy two nights of camping surrounded by fellow enthusiasts.
The farm site offers excellent facilities to make your stay comfortable, including hot showers, a sun terrace and sheltered social area, plus a brick-built barbecue and large fire pit—perfect for evening gatherings under the stars.
A catering trailer will be on site throughout the weekend, serving a range of hot breakfast and dinner options, alongside hot and cold drinks. Families are warmly welcomed, with the Football Fun Factory on hand to keep younger campers entertained.
Recently crowned Gold Award winner for Best Campsite at the Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards for Excellence, Retro Staycations provides a picturesque and well-equipped base for the weekend. Best of all, tickets are just £30 per pitch for the entire weekend, covering up to four people, making it fantastic value for a memorable outdoor escape.
