What's On
Cowes Fringe is a lively, community-driven arts festival that celebrates creativity across the Isle of Wight, transforming Cowes each May into a hub of music, comedy, theatre and live performance. Set against the iconic maritime coastal backdrop of East and West Cowes, Cowes Fringe champions emerging Island talent, established local and national acts, filling venues on both sides of the River Medina with unforgettable experiences and a buzzing festival atmosphere.
Beyond the main festival weekend, Cowes Fringe proudly nurtures home-grown creativity year-round, including exciting showcase events such as "The Island’s Got Talent" this March— a feel-good competition that gives performers of ages 8+ the chance to shine, with one standout act earning a coveted place in the main Cowes Fringe programme.
At its heart, Cowes Fringe is about bringing people together — artists, audiences and local partners — to celebrate talent, collaboration and the vibrant cultural spirit of the Island.
