An all dayer on 6th of June gathers musicians at the Apollo theatre to celebrate the community achievement of the Island's Operation Geranium Project which began in 2020 employing adults with learning and support needs to grow plants.

An all dayer on 6th of June gathers musicians at the Apollo theatre to celebrate the community achievement of the Island's Operation Geranium Project which began in 2020 employing Adults with Learning and Support Needs to grow plants delivered in pots via Care Navigators at AgeU.K.I.W, via the green cargo pedal bike volunteer service called Keert.U.K.

There was also an Art Trail inclusion initiative that saw the art work of 14 local artists published as free art postcards connecting lonely and isolated people during Covid travel bans, distributed by 100s of online, and local shops,and businesses 'Wish You Were Here' art postcards 50,000 distributed all over the World. The Art Collection was widened to include Iconic Art Reflecting Pop Culture and loaned out to Public
Libraries, Community Cafe's, Museums, and Spaces across the Island. 

Music Promoter Steve Double invites Guest Bands, from Cornwall,Brighton, and Northampton collaborating with Island based Music Artiststo Showcase Original Creative Music across diverse Genre's, including: Folk, Country, Punk, Acoustic, Skiffle and Rock, bringing different tribes together in a community playhouse run by community spirited volunteers since 1970.

Brighton Pub Rock Legends The Fish Brother's main support Act over 200 shows across Europe with The Levellers a Piano Comedy Duo Blonde and Cooper earlier Fish brothers band recruits included Captain Sensible and Attila The Stockbroker.

Rhiannon Crutchley Hailing from the waterways of the Midlands The Brewer's Daughter plays original and traditional Folk Songs, steeped in Roots and Culture. Her extensive touring has taken her around Music Festivals, and Venue Stages throughout the U.K.and Europe., Glastonbury, Bearded Theory and The 100 Club.The Multi - Instrumentalist talents of a Brewer's Daughter show appeals to all ages.The Brewer's Daughter achieves this, yet her honest, down to earth, working class values, and wit shine through creating an unassuming bond between performer and audience.

Residing now in Cornwall, newly signed band The Ides of Sedition play perfect pop with grit mixing 70's Punk with electronic Pop 80's indie influences art college mate of Mick Jone,s Chris Bashford early debutClash Drummer later joined Jeff  Piccinini in Chelsea, and also London Band The Boys, In The IOS he is joined by Keyboard player/ programmer Caralinda.

Booth who brings quirky electro Pop energy from her life of international touring with 80's Pop Bands

The Thompson Twins and Shakespeare's Sister, she has also worked with, The Monochrome Set and Deborah Harry.

Headlining the night an Island band formed in 1976 at The Marquee Club in Wardour St London fronted by songwriter Nigel Hutchings and formed jointly by Nigel and Bass Player Jeff Piccinini, Nigel became the General Manager at The Marquee for 10 years. StormTrooper split after releasing one single I'm a  Mess. The Marquee Club was the birthplace of The British Punk Rock Explosion but who knows The Isle of Wight and the single I am a Mess would be intrinsic to the core. Jeff joined Chelsea whose early launch included Billy Idol and Sting in this Maelstrom of energy and D.I.Y. that changed Music for ever. StormTrooper are on the, rise again after decades and their songs sound still relevant to today we all have more in common than the things which divide us.

The Duvers are a new project of Folk Acoustic Songs from Peter Banks who played Keyboards in After The Fire (70s/80s) toured U.S.A. with Van Halen joined by Island Bass Player Stuart Capewell and Linda O' Connor on flute.

Angelina and Dave Godby opened for the Sell Out Nashville Nights Tour Show in February Country Pedal Steel Guitar / Mandolin and celebrated Island Songsmith Angelina Grimshaw.

All Washed Up are an Island Stalwart Skiffle Group who have played many local venues and events a new line up of local musicians take them back out on the road again.

Graham Yeo Blow is part of the Island Beatles Tribute Band The Apple Beatles Graham has been putting together a new set of solo Guitar / Vocals songs from the Americana/Country/Folk/Blues Songbook a debut performance for new works...

The Concert will run between 2.00 pm and 10.15pm with Band Merchandise on sale. Age U.K.I.W will be here to help sign post sources of support for well being of older residents.

The Concert will be hosted by Steve Double B.E.M.
