Southampton's Snow Windows Trail | 29 November - 4 January | 10am - 5pm

Back by popular demand, Southampton's Snow Windows Trail is returning to the city centre this winter with two new walking routes. 

Created by artist Tom Baker from Snow Windows, this free trail will bring over 20 brand new snowy works of art to life inspired by winter wildlife, nature, Southampton’s landmarks and quirky characters. 

Grab a free trail map and follow the Snowflake Route and/or Star Route to discover all of the clue stops. Each snowy window location will have an A4 window poster featuring a quiz question themed around either Southampton or winter. Keep track of your answers by writing them down in your trail map.

Prizes and Rewards
At each stop, you’ll also find a secret QR code to scan. This will unlock exclusive discounts, rewards or giveaways from local venues and independent retailers. Give them a scan to see what you uncover!

When you’ve completed either trail route, simply fill in the feedback form on the back of the map and head to SeaCity Museum to collect your free prize. 

Trailgoers will receive a prize for each route they complete and can enter the Ultimate Winter Prize Draw to win all of the below:

• An overnight stay for two with breakfast at The White Star Tavern, Southampton
• A family day ticket to SeaCity Museum and Tudor House and Garden
• Four tickets to The Princess Proms at O2 Guildhall Southampton (2 April)
• Four tickets to Peppa Pig’s Big Family Show at Mayflower Studios (21 February)
• A £100 Matalan gift card

Prize collection will take place from SeaCity Museum. Please note the museum will be closed 24 – 26 December 2025 and 1 January 2026.

Where to get a Snow Windows Trail map
Physical copies of the Snow Windows Trail map will be available to pick up from our ferry terminals, key locations across the city centre, including information hubs, hotels, transport points and cultural venues.
