St Mildred’s Church, Whippingham are inviting you to visit for their Christmas Tree Festival this festive season! Expect a magical display of decorated trees, with proceeds going to local charities.

What's On

Join St Mildreds Church in Whippingham for a magical Christmas tree festival culminating in a festive carol session on Sunday 21 December.

The church will be adorned with beautifully decorated trees sponsored by local clubs, schools and businesses. The coffee shop will be open so you can enjoy delicious warming drinks. 

St Mildred's Church is known for being Queen Victoria's place of worship when she was in residence at her nearby Osborne estate. Inside you can find the royal pew upon which she would sit for prayer and a whole host of original features. 

All donations  from drinks and refreshments will be split between local charities here on the Island.

Getting There

By car: Beatrice Avenue, East Cowes PO32 6LW. On-site parking is available.

By bus: Take Southern Vectis no. 4 or 5 from East Cowes (outside Waitrose) or no. 5 from Newport. Alight at Whippingham Forge and walk for 12 minutes along Beatrice Avenue. Plan your journey here
