Retro Staycations, the Isle of Wight’s award-winning glamping retreat and vintage campsite, is set to host a spectacular summer weekender packed with music, nostalgia, and festival vibes. The ‘Dancing Queens & Boyband Dreams’ event will take place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th July 2026, featuring two of the UK’s most sought-after tribute acts.
Kicking off the weekend in true retro style, Abba Chique will take to the stage on Friday night to deliver a dazzling performance of the Swedish supergroup’s greatest hits. Then, on Saturday night, get ready to relive the magic of the UK’s best-loved boyband with Re-Take That, the nation’s leading Take That tribute show, bringing the ultimate party atmosphere to Ryde.
Attendees can look forward to two unforgettable nights of live music, plus delicious local food offerings, support acts, and plenty of opportunities to dance, sing, and celebrate Summer under the stars.
For festival-goers who choose to bring their own tent or camper, discounted camping rates are available for one or two nights. The picturesque farm site also features free parking, posh toilet facilities, hot showers and stunning countryside views — making it the perfect spot for a Summer escape.
On Friday, 10th July, prepare to be transported back to the 1970s and ‘80s and swing those flares to chart topping hits like Waterloo, S.O.S, Fernando, ‘Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and many, many more.
On Saturday, 11th July, dance and sing the night away to smash hits like Greatest Day, Back for Good, Relight my Fire, Let Me Go, Shine, Never Forget, Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ, Love my Life, and Angels to name but a few.
Whether you’re a die-hard ABBA fan, a Take That enthusiast, or just looking for a fun-filled weekend of great music and family-friendly entertainment, Jack Up’s Dancing Queens & Boyband Dreams promises to be a highlight of the 2026 Isle of Wight summer calendar. Open to all ages, expect live music, amazing food, camping, glamping and good times all round.
The event is unseated so attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to sit on. Posh toilet facilities provided.
