Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day
Head to Ryde for an action-packed day to honour the inspirational individuals who make up our Armed Forces - from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets!
What's On
At Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day this year, you can expect some stunning attractions. Ranging from aircraft soaring across the Solent skies, to loud bangs on the beach and bands in the parade.
Last year's event drew in a crowd of 10,000, making it the second-most attended event after the Isle of Wight Festival. The incredible Red Arrows will also perform a flypast!
Peppered throughout the site, will be various static engagement stands, attractions and Forces supporting charities. Plus the main stage, located on Eastern Garden, offers a full programme of music across the day.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. A veteran is anyone who has served in the HM Armed Forces at any time (including National Servicemen, Regulars and Reserves). Armed Forces Day celebrates their continued role within the military community.
