Considered the largest walking event of its kind in Europe, this event funds to help Mountbatten - the Isle of Wight’s only hospice - supporting Islanders when they need it most.
Mountbatten’s flagship fundraiser is an epic walk across the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside and offers multiple route options for all ages and abilities.
For 26.5 miles of glorious Isle of Wight scenery, there is the Full Walk, between Bembridge and The Needles. For something more manageable, there are 2 Half Walks (12.5 or 14 miles), or the wheelchair-accessible, pushchair-friendly Flat Walk (8 miles), between Sandown and Shide.
Featuring Lush, green countryside, historic villages, famous landmarks, majestic chalk cliffs, and coastal views with shimmering blue seas - Walk the Wight, crowned Red Funnel’s Best Island Event, has all this and more!
