The Red Funnel team strives to keep our passengers updated about any potential travel disruptions, delays, or changes to service status. Travel Updates
From Monday 20 July to Wednesday 22 July we'll be operating a temporary Red Jet timetable to allow for one of our Red Jet vessels to be withdrawn from service for essential repairs to a hub seal. Please see our temporary timetable here.
To facilitate the replacement of a hydraulic ram in East Cowes, it has been necessary to cancel the following sailings:
Saturday 25 July
Departing Southampton: 23:59
Sunday 26 July
Departing East Cowes: 01:30
Due to the above cancellations, we have added an additional Red Jet sailing to the timetable:
Saturday 25 July
Departing Southampton: 00:10
Departing West Cowes: 00:45
Impacted customers have been contacted with alternative sailing options - if you need any support, please get in touch.
VEHICLE FERRY LIFTS
Are you due to travel on the Vehicle Ferry and need to use the lift on your crossing? Please call us on 023 8001 9192 in advance of your sailing for assistance.
If you have not called in advance, and need lift access, please inform check-in on arrival so we can load you on the appropriate deck to access the working lift.
