ABP Southampton Marathon
The popular ABP Southampton Marathon returns to take over the city on Sunday 3 May 2026.

What's On
Choose from the Full Marathon (42k), Half Marathon (21k), 10k, 5k or a family-friendly Fun Run. All distances will start from Dock Gate 8 at the City Cruise Terminal, with access via Herbert Walker Avenue and end at Above Bar Street, in the city centre.
Just before the race gets underway, a historic Spitfire will fly above Southampton, putting on an incredible 8-minute display to start the day.

Getting There
The marathon will start from Dock Gate 8 at the City Cruise Terminal, with access via Herbert Walker Avenue and end at Above Bar Street, in the city centre.
Sail over on foot to Southampton for just £12.00pp from East Cowes, or £13.00pp from West Cowes.
