Sail over to Hythe
In September we were proud to announce we'd acquired the Hythe Ferry, one of the Solent's most historic connections, as part of the new Hythe and Southampton Ferry Company. Sailing from Town Quay in Southampton, adjacent to our Red Jet terminal, the ferry links commuters, and tourists to the 640-metre pier at the edge of Hythe, where it is met by the world's longest running public pier train!
Head over to Hythe, at the edge of the New Forest, for their weekly traditional street market, range of independent shops, and the nearby Vibrant Forest Brewery. You can also take a stroll along the waterfront, with great views across the busy shipping channel of Southampton Water, or explore the local area and New Forest via regular buses or multiple cycle routes.
You can buy through tickets to Hythe from East Cowes and West Cowes, via our vehicle ferry or Red Jet, and the Hythe Ferry. They're available to buy from our ticket offices, with prices starting at £19.30pp for a Super Off-Peak Day Return.
