The festive POLAR story continues at Robin Hill this December. Spend a magical family evening exploring all the Christmas delights and get the chance to meet Pippa the polar bear.
From beautifully illuminated ancient woodland and immersive walk-throughs to live music., a local market and delicious food, the event promises to provide festive cheer this year. You'll also get to meet some very special guests who will be joining the star of the show, Pippa the polar bear, for the very first time from Robin Hill's sister park, Blackgang Chine.
As you step into the open air, you'll wander through glistening woodland and encounter a whole series of wonderful experiences along you POLAR journey. Support local traders and crafters at the POLAR Market, where you'll find a selection of festive delights, perfect for gift ideas and stocking fillers.
Continue through the triumphal marbel arch and into POLAR Village where the Woodlands Ponds area is transformed into a true Winter Wonderland. Enjoy heart-warming tastes of Christmas, finished with a mulled drink or decadent hot chocolate, all accompanied by music from the Chritmas Carolettes.
Head to POLAR Hollow for a chance to meet Pippa the polar bear and be transported into a young boys's dreamworld. All is not as it seems in this immersive, interactive alkthrough; toys come to life and you never know who you could meet along the way.

Getting to POLAR is easy from Southampton with Red Funnel.
By car - catch the car ferry to East Cowes and then head south on Dover Road. Take the A3021, Briddlesford Road to Downend and your there. It will take about 14 minutes.
On foot - catch the Red Jet to West Cowes. From here, Southern Vectis operate frequent buses (service 1) to Newport where you can change at the bus station for Ventnor (service 8). Taxis are also available outside the West Cowes Red Jet terminal. For car hire, we recommend Enterprise - they will pick you-up from the Red Jet if you tell them your arrival time.
