Astronomy Night at Ventnor Botanic Gardens - Friday 3rd January 2020
Venue - Ventnor Botanic Gardens
Time - 6pm - 8pm
In the event of bad weather, there will be an astonomical presentation
The VBG will be open at 6.30pm for refreshments and don't forget to wrap up in warm clothes.
Astronomy Night at The Isle of Wight Zoo - Monday 2nd March 2020
Venue - The Isle of Wight Zoo
Time - 6pm - 8pm

The Wildheart Cafe will be open at 6.30pm for refreshments and don't forget to wrap up in warm clothes.

John has been interested in astronomy ever since he studied astronomy as an O level at school. He is a published astro photographer and has been shortlisted in the Royal Greenwich Observatory Astro photographer of the Year competition (in the newcomers category).
He is passionate about the subject and does many outreach events throughout the year, for school children. He recently helped the Godshill scouts obtain their astronomy badge.
