The village's bustling high street, filled with independent shops, award winning cafe, craft beer micro pub, traditional seaside eateries and pubs provide a warm welcome to those seeking a taste of local life. A short distance from the village you can find Furzedown Farm, a conversation woodland and home to The Noble Bee, producers of award winning, single origin, raw, new Forest Honey.

Getting to Hythe from the Isle of Wight couldn't be easier. 

Book your through-ticket at our West Cowes Ticket Office and set sail on the Red Jet to Southampton. 

When you arrive in Southampton, board Hythe Ferry from Town Quay (directly next to our Red Jet berth) and arrive at Hythe Pier in just 15 minutes. Return Hythe Pier Train travel is also included with your through ticket, and acts as a shuttle service into the village.
