On the morning of Sunday 3 May, temporary road closures will be in place around Southampton for the ABP Southampton Marathon.

Town Quay Road, immediately outside our Vehicle Ferry terminal, will be closed for approximately 35 minutes between 08:55 and 09:30 for the start of the event. This means customers travelling with vehicles on the 0900 and 1000 sailing may need to adjust their plans for arrival.

• If you’re sailing on the 09:00 vehicle ferry service from Southampton to East Cowes, please arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes before your scheduled crossing.
• If you’re sailing on the 10:00 vehicle ferry service from Southampton to East Cowes, please arrive no more than 30 minutes before your scheduled crossing.

Arrival outside these windows may mean you are unable to reach the terminal in time to travel as planned. 
These road closures are managed by the local authority and event organisers, and their marshals. We appreciate the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.
