The Highlight of Easter: The Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair (4 & 5 April) at Northwood House in Cowes.
Looking for a fantastic treat for the family this Easter? Then don’t miss the Island’s big outdoor event of the season which has free entry for children on Good Friday & Easter Saturday. The enormously popular Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair features a huge range of quality exhibitors from the Island and mainland set in beautiful Northwood House & Park in Cowes.
The Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair always brings together a fantastic collection of different exhibitors of all types, including garden and plant nurseries from the Island and mainland who will be taking space on the lawns of our historic venue, as well as a fantastic Island artist showcase inside the elegant rooms of the main house itself. Its a diverse and eclectic event which visitors love.
Get plants and equipment for the garden and see some of our best local artists from across the Island in the Art Showcase, with a lovely atmosphere and lots to enjoy over the two-day event. There will be several marquees of quality hand-made craft, produce and other artisan retailers, some of whom have never been to the Island before.
The Island Art Showcase inside Northwood House is always a highlight of the event, with incredible artists exhibiting their work for sale. As usual visitors will get a chance to do some painting and sketching under the instruction resident Dining Room artists, with free “have-a-go” lessons throughout the two days.
Returning in 2026 is the Roots & Shoots Plants Talk Tent which features some top speakers and personalities from the world of gardening.
Children can take part in free art & craft activities, including a FREE Easter egg trail, at the Kid's Creation station.
There’s also live music to enjoy at the popular Northwood House Lawn Bar and Tea Tent with JC & Angelina and the Mike Jolliffe Duo, where it’s now traditional to have your first Pimm’s of the season! There will also be displays of vintage tractors and cars over both days which are always popular with visitors. The Fair is also very dog friendly and includes a dog agility area hosted by the team from Barking Mad showing off their canine training skills. Bring your dog along and have a go too!
- Admission Tickets are only £6 each for adults (or 2 for £11) with children under 16 going free, making for a super value family day out. You can also buy two-day tickets to visit both days if you wish.
Getting There
By car: Northwood House & Park, Ward Avenue, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8AZ. Parking is available on the Ward Avenue Event Field for a £4 charity donation, with lots of other parking available locally in Park Road Car Park.
By bus: Use Southern Vectis No.1 from either Cowes (M&S) or Newport and alight at Park Gates, Park Road. Plan your journey here.
