There are six exciting categories celebrating everything from wholesome roast dinners and traditional fish & chips to elegant restaurants and cosy pubs.
A few things to consider...
All businesses must apply in order to be considered for the public voting stage. Before entering your business into one of the following categories, please ensure you meet the criteria for each award below:
Best Pub
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
Best Restaurant
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
- You must offer a restaurant experience
Best Cafe/Tearoom
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
Best Local Produce
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
- Your product should be produced and sold here on the Isle of Wight
- You should stock a good range of local produce for local and visiting customers
Best Fish & Chips
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
- You must serve fish & chips as part of your main menu, inhouse or takeaway
Best Roast
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
- You must serve Sunday Lunch as part of your regular menu
Best Burger
- You must be open for business for the 2024/25 season
- Your customer base should be a mix of local residents and visitors to the Island
Each business can apply for a maximum of two awards.
