The vehicle ferry from Southampton to East Cowes takes just 1 hour, and with plenty of Solent views along the way, you’ll arrive before you know it.

If you’re travelling by foot, you can easily reach the Isle of Wight from London by purchasing a combined train and ferry ticket with South Western Railway, either online, via the app or at the station.
The train from London Waterloo to Southampton Central takes around two hours. From Southampton Central Station you can catch the Quayconnect bus to the Red Jet terminal (included in your combined ticket). The Red Jet from Southampton to West Cowes takes just 28 minutes.
