There are a selection of various pitch types to suit all of our guests requirements. A stream also meanders alongside this area, which includes a tranquil area for relaxing and nature watching, as we are a haven for wildlife, as wild Ducks, Moorhens, Red squirrels, Badges, Foxes and Rabbits pass through this area on their daily routines, and if guests get up early enough they may get the pleasure of seeing them going about their daily routines.’

The peaceful little site is everything you need to unwind and get away from it all, the sight allows you to wander down into the mill during the day and enjoy the tranquil setting of the river and surroundings. It is a pretty basic site with two toilets on site, a wash basin and a shower, but that’s what the visitors delight in.’

Camp Wight | Ningwood | Visit Website

‘We provide a refreshing back to basics camping experience, in woodland, with campfires and eco-friendly facilities.  Our visitors love our low-density woodland camping pitches; they make it feel like you’re the only people on our site.  We are one of a very limited number of campsites around the UK that allow campfires, too.  Our recycled washing machine drum firepits keep fires safe and contained, whilst being perfect to cook on, or toast marshmallows over.’
