Universal Credit Assisted Fares Scheme

Red Funnel's Universal Credit Assisted Fares Scheme offers Isle of Wight residents who are receiving Universal Credit to travel with a car for a maximum fixed price of £59.10 return (or 20% off our lowest standard web fares if cheaper). A fixed fare of £12.30 return is also available for travel as a foot passenger between East Cowes and Southampton.

To join the scheme, you must have a My Red Funnel account in your own name and current address before you can apply. 

To apply: Please complete the form below with your full name, full address including postcode, contact number, email address and BKC number. You will also need to supply proof that you have been in receipt of Universal Credit in the last 30 days, to include your full name and corresponding Isle of Wight address. You can find this by requesting a proof letter, here.

Once validated, you will receive an email from us with details of how to book at the reduced rates - please allow 7 working days.
