The Southampton International Boat Show returns for its 56th year, reimagined for 2025.

Expect a refreshed layout (with a new entrance on Mayflower Park), exciting new features, and an expanded line-up of on and off-water experiences – here’s a taste of what’s to come…

Explore hundreds of marine brands on land and in Europe’s largest purpose-built show marina showcasing everything from stand-up paddleboards, sail boats and superyachts – everyone can get out on the water; and it’s easier than many might think.

Looking to dive into the show a little deeper? Watersports enthusiasts and adventure seekers can make a splash and try their hand at scuba diving in the dive zone, or test their balance on a paddleboard on the Watersports Lake. Why not take it further and venture out onto the Solent with the Try A Boat scheme, where you can learn to sail a dinghy, or explore a range of other watersports equipment on the waves!

For families, there's plenty to keep the kids entertained, with lots of entry-level watersports activities, a play area, a big dance floor at the Shipyard, interactive demos on the Foredeck Stage and an appearance from the one and only Ted Funnel!

• Educational Workshops: Discover how to make knotted items with just ropes, watch live boat-building demos, you can even give it try! 
• Amazing stunt show: Be wowed by the high-octane thrills at the ‘On the Water Stage’ Stunt Show, including wingfoiling, flyboarding and jet skiing.
• Explore the boats: Have fun exploring the hundreds of different types of boats on display at the show. From small sailing dinghies to luxurious yachts, there's a wide range of vessels to discover.

Sail over from West Cowes on our Hi-Speed Red Jet service and arrive in Southampton in under 30 minutes, for just £13.50 per adult day return or £6.70 per child. 

Southampton Boat Show will be taking place at Mayflower Park, a short distance from our Southampton ferry terminals. Hop on the Quayconnect bus (free when you show your Red Funnel ferry ticket!) and alight at Westquay for the Boat Show entrance. 

Red Jet: Valid for a £13.50 adult day return trip / £6.70 child day return trip between 19 & 28 September 2025, on any sailing between Southampton and West Cowes. Travel must start in West Cowes. Carriage is subject to availability and is on a first come first served basis. Note: It is not possible to pre-book specific sailing times with Red Jet tickets. Offer available online only.
