Ventnor Fringe

Ventnor - 19 to 28 July

The Island’s multi award winning arts festival, which features gigs, comedy and performances in unusual spaces around Ventnor both free and ticketed, and for the first time this year, a large-scale circus is on the eclectic line up. 

Cowes Week

Cowes - 27 July to 2 August

Enjoy a sailing spectacle on the water and a great atmosphere shoreside, with pop up bars and entertainment every evening, as well as great places to eat, drink and dance in the town. 

Pirates at Carisbrooke Castle

Carisbrooke - 30 July to 1 August

There’ll be plenty of piratical fun for the whole family, all against the backdrop of the mighty Carisbrooke Castle. Wander through an atmospheric encampment, learn the ropes in pirate school, follow your nose to the cook’s tent, and sing along to sea shanties.

The Chale Show

Chale - 3 to 4 August

A combination of traditional village fete favourites like veg, flower and cake competitions to big arena entertainment, The Chale Show is one of the Island’s favourite summer events, with something for all the family to enjoy.

Wight Proms

Cowes - 9 to 18 August

The annual Wight Proms festival celebrates comedy, opera, drag, country music, sport, musical theatre, dance, and classical proms, all set on the lawn of stately Northwood House in Cowes.

Jack Up Summer Party

Ryde - 10 & 11 August

Get ready to immerse yourself in the ultimate Summer celebration at this year’s Jack Up Summer Party! The two-day extravaganza promises to bring all the fun with a sensational line-up featuring world-class tribute acts and original artists.

Sunset Sessions presents Nathan Dawe

Blackgang - 16 to 17 August

Chart topping music producer and DJ Nathan Dawe takes to the stage for the second Sunset Sessions of the Summer. This unique, adult only cliff top party sees guests dance the night away to a lineup of DJ's whilst the sun sets alongside them.

The Garlic Festival

Arreton - 17 to 18 August

The world-famous Isle of Wight Garlic Festival returns in August! A family friendly festival with a curious mixture of garlic, late sixties pop festival ambiance and country fair, with masses of entertainment for children and adults.

Wolverton Manor Garden Fair

Shorwell - 31 August to 1 September

The Island's largest Garden Fair offers fun and entertainment for the whole family with a weekend packed full of live shows, demonstrations, re-enactments, children’s activities, magic shows, and more!  

Morris Minor Rally

Isle of Wight Steam Railway - 1 September

Enjoy a day dedicated to the Morris (or “Moggy”) Minor – the first ever car to sell a million! See travellers, saloons, convertibles, vans, pick-ups and customised classics on display at this special event run by the IWMMOC (Isle of Wight Morris Minor Owners Club).

Sunset Sessions End of Summer Party

Blackgang Chine - 6 September 

Sunset Sessions wraps up the summer with three incredible headlining acts and a BBQ. Featuring the iconic Tall Paul, dynamic duo Ultrabeat and special guest Ellie Sax, this promises to be a night to remember.

Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show

Newport Quay - 7 September

A free must-visit event for all petrol heads and history buffs, with the two-day charity event bringing together the best classic vehicles from all over the UK and Europe. You’ll get to see an eclectic range of around 1,000 vintage, custom, retro and rare cars.
