Freshwater Bay

Freshwater Bay offers a breath-taking view from a pebbled beach with sandy areas to sit and relax on the eastern end of the bay. At low-tide this turns into a gold mine for children, as the rockpools become accessible for exploration. 

The bay is surrounded by white chalk cliffs that reveal the caves at the bottom, once used by smugglers. These can be explored at very low tide, but it's always best to take a guide with you due to the tides. Kayaking is an excellent way to explore these beautiful caves. 

Freshwater Bay is a beautiful and tranquil place to visit and is very popular with those keen on water-sports such as coasteering.
