    Efficient loading service and on time departures, which is what Red Funnel does best. Added treat of the Signature Lounge means a relaxing crossing all round!

    They operate regularly and efficiently. I can sit comfortably and use WiFi, charge my phone, eat and drink if I want to.

    Staff went above and beyond when a braclet was lost on board the Osprey 6 pm 17/01/20 .

    Scheduled boat was cancelled. This was not updated on their website, twitter or Facebook. When we arrived we were met by an employee of red funnel, pointing the blame towards us as ‘he had tried to ring us’ it was our fault for not answering (a mobile number, not a number from red funnel). No message...

    Arrived early and yet were literally the last car to board and then disembark - with two small children would have thought this may be taken into account albeit I realise the service was busy. On that point had to sit outside the toilets as no other available seating - again not ideal with small children...

    Arrived for 3pm sailing at 2.57pm. Was told gate had closed but may be allowed to board. Was not allowed on and told to park in standby lane. Another vehicle was allowed to board after I had been refused.
    I had to wait for next ferry and take a chance on getting on.

    From the ease of the online booking to arriving back in Southampton the whole Red Funnel experience made the day so much more enjoyable. From the arrivals staff to the loading and onboard crew we were made to feel welcome. The lounge area was clean and tidy everyone of the crew we met had a smile.
