    It would have been okay but because there was a traffic accident on the M4 I was delayed for my ferry. I called Red Funnel to ask if I could go on the next ferry and was told I could but I would have to pay an extra £8.00 on top of the £46.00 I had already paid them.

    A thoroughly enjoyable journey over to the Isle of Wight, comfortable seats, great views from large windows (the sunny weather helped) but no complaints.

    Runs on time and comfortable surroundings. The Steam service is good but slightly annoying that they cannot credit my card when I forget it.

    It is nice when, on arriving early as we did yesterday after a long trip from France, the staff fitted us onto the next ferry without question.

    Both crossings were on time. I arrived (foot passenger) only 3 minutes before the return crossing and was still able to get on board, the ferry left on time 3 minutes later. Seating was comfortable, staff were pleasant and there was a reasonable selection of food and drink on board.

    First time I've used it, the guy guiding us on was fantastic with his bowing, made you smile as you drove on. Staff were great, a stress free journey, also a room for folks with dogs, that is brilliant. Can't fault it

    The refurbs of both Red Osprey and Red Falcon are great and there appears to be plenty of comfortable seating. Very pleasant sailing in both directions. We missed the return sailing due to a car problem but the East Cowes staff made it stress-free and easy to rebook onto the next sailing.
