    found myself and wife with 86 year old parents having to sit on uncomfortable bench seat directly opposite entrance to toilets as no other seating available, hence could not take refreshment or food during the course...

    Ferry and food and booking in great as were all staff. So so so expensive though ! The ferry was empty and I was paying nearly £2 per minute to travel in a van. I've now made arrangements so I don't need to drive to the mainland.

    What an excellent service. The breakfast was great and offered exceptional value for money. All staff in attendance were very friendly and professional. We will be back!

    Extortionate prices that are totally unnecessary for people who have no choice but to use the service. Not willing to wave additional charges when I had to change a booking due to a family bereavement. Made a bad situation so much worse.

    I always enjoy travelling with Red Funnel. Usually on time and very pleasant sailing from and back to the Island. Return trip 7am ferry on Sat was a bit marred by noisy, unruly children! (hence 4 out of 5 stars) My dog is always far better behaved.

    I arrived a little early for my outbound trip and was immediately offered a place on the previous sailing, which I gladly took. Then on the return, I happened to be even earlier and was allowed to move sailings - this time for a small charge (~£5) which was well worth it. Even my prebooked priority...

    from boarding the ferry with our car it was straightforward easy staff were friendly, clear explanations of what to do. smooth crossing. food was lovely. exiting the ferry again was really straightforward and staff were always available to help you if needed
