Amend / Cancel Bookings affected by disruption

We have made temporary changes to our amendment and cancellation policy, for any customers whose travel plans are affected by the disruption to our service on 10 May 2021.

For customers who wish to amend  or cancel, we have the following options:

1. Free Amendments

Amend your current booking to a future date, with no amendment fee. Your amended dates can be changed again free of charge, at your convenience. Fare differences will apply where applicable.

Please note: as we are fully booked on Monday 10 May, with a reduced number of sailings, we will not be able to offer amendments to alternative sailing times.


2. Booking Credit

Put your booking on hold with a credit. You will then have until 31 December 2021 to decide what to do with your credit. You can either choose to put it towards a future booking or if you’d prefer you can cancel it (see option 3).


3. Cancellation

If you’d prefer to simply cancel your ferry booking with Red Funnel you can. We are temporarily waiving cancellation fees on ferry bookings for customers affected by the disruption, so you will receive a full refund.


Contacting us to make changes

Due to the overwhelming number of calls and emails we are receiving we are prioritising the most immediate bookings, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you would prefer to amend your booking to a future date, or hold your booking credit and decide another time, complete the form below and select either option 1 or 2, then click ‘submit’. One of our agents will get in touch to process your request

If you wish to cancel your ferry booking, simply complete the form below, select the option “3. Cancellation” and click ‘submit’. One of our agents will process your refund to the card originally used for payment, and will contact you to confirm once this has been processed.

Please note: We will aim to get back to all requests within 48 hrs, but in some cases this may take longer. If you have completed the request form and not heard back from us within 48 hrs, please get in touch.
