The Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival returns in 2026!
Nine days of free or low cost nature and community events all over the Island to celebrate our UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Our incredible natural diversity is reflected in a wonderfully varied programme: wildlife, landscape, art, walks, talks, storytelling, film, music, craft, history, carnival, gardening, fashion, science and more. It will be a thought-provoking, moving, inspirational celebration of what makes our Island great, showcasing over 70 local organisations each running their own events. Someone for everyone who cares about the natural world, sustainability and community-led innovation.

Getting There
From Southampton: Set sail to East Cowes with your car and up to 7 passengers, or hop on our hi-speed Red Jet service as a foot passenger and arrive in West Cowes in under 30 minutes.
By bus: Onward Southern Vectis bus connections are available from both our Island terminals - get to where you need to be by planning your journey here.
