What's On

After a successful 2025, Heart & Stroll is back for 2026! 

Join in on Sunday 28 June 2026 at Southampton Common. This event is family friendly and we encourage you to bring your fur-babies too!

Bring the whole family along including your dog to enjoy Heart & Stroll around the common in aid of Heartbeat. 

Not only will you receive your medal after your walk, but there will also be some live music with their very own resident DJ. There will also be a variety of stalls for a little bit of shopping, where you can enjoy some tasty treats from fabulous food vendors and much more in the event village!

So whether you are a seasoned walker, beginner, or just want to spend some time with the family, click here to get signed up today!

Funds raised will help to support the Heart Failure Unit in Wessex Cardiac Unit at the University Hospital Southampton become the UK’s Leading Heart Failure Unit. 

Getting There

On foot: Southampton Common is just to the north of the city centre. Hop on the Red Jet service from West Cowes and arrive in under 30 minutes, and choose to either walk or take the Unilink U1A bus, alighting at Northlands Road. 

By car: Find paid parking on Cemetery Rd, Southampton SO15 7NN.

Travel Offer T&Cs

Foot passenger offer: Valid for a £14 adult day return trip / £7 child day return trip on 28 June 2026, available for use at any time of day. Travel must start in West Cowes. Carriage is subject to availability and is on a first come first served basis. Note: It is not possible to pre-book specific sailing times with Red Jet tickets. Offer available online only.
