The Red Funnel team strives to keep our passengers updated about any potential travel disruptions, delays, or changes to service status. Below you’ll find our latest travel updates as well as the live status of the next 15 departures from the Isle of Wight and Southampton, along with our vessel map displaying the latest positions of our ferries.
Travel Updates
To enable us to carry out essential maintenance on our linkspan at East Cowes, we’ll be cancelling the following overnight Vehicle Ferry sailings:
Saturday 7 March: Southampton to East Cowes – 23:55
Sunday 8 March: East Cowes to Southampton – 01:30
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
There are currently no customer toilet facilities at Terminal 2, Southampton (Red Jet). There are portaloos situated outside the terminal entrance, and alternative toilets on board the Red Jet and nearby at Terminal 1 (our Vehicle Ferry terminal).
VEHICLE FERRY LIFTS
Are you due to travel on the Vehicle Ferry and need to use the lift on your crossing? Please call us on 023 8001 9192 in advance of your sailing for assistance.
If you have not called in advance, and need lift access, please inform check-in on arrival so we can load you on the appropriate deck to access the working lift.
