The Red Funnel team strives to keep our passengers updated about any potential travel disruptions, delays, or changes to service status. Below you’ll find our latest travel updates as well as the live status of the next 15 departures from the Isle of Wight and Southampton, along with our vessel map displaying the latest positions of our ferries.
Travel Updates
Due to reduced visibility in Cowes Harbour our Vehicle Ferry is currently suspended. Please do not arrive at our terminals until we have been in contact with you. Once our services resume, we will be in touch with you to advise a new estimated departure time.
Our vehicle ferry services from Southampton will temporarily operate from Berth 25 while essential works take place at Southampton Terminal 1.
Customers travelling with a vehicle should continue to check in at Southampton Terminal 1 as usual and follow guidance from our teams, who will direct traffic to Berth 25 when ready.
Foot passengers should also continue to arrive at Terminal 1, where a free shuttle bus service will operate between the terminal and Berth 25.

VEHICLE FERRY LIFTS
Are you due to travel on the Vehicle Ferry and need to use the lift on your crossing? Please call us on 023 8001 9192 in advance of your sailing for assistance.
If you have not called in advance, and need lift access, please inform check-in on arrival so we can load you on the appropriate deck to access the working lift.
