The Red Funnel team strives to keep our passengers updated about any potential travel disruptions, delays, or changes to service status. Below you’ll find our latest travel updates as well as the live status of the next 15 departures from the Isle of Wight and Southampton, along with our vessel map displaying the latest positions of our ferries.
Travel Updates
For fans travelling back to the Island from the Southampton vs Bristol City match on Tuesday 21st April, we will be adding an additional round trip that night to accommodate fans.
Updated sailings will depart as follows:
From Southampton: 23:45
From West Cowes: 00:20
The scheduled 23:55 vehicle ferry will also sail as normal for fans travelling to East Cowes.
For fans travelling back to the Island from the Southampton vs Ipswich Town match on Tuesday 28th April, we will be adding an additional round trip that night to accommodate fans.
Updated sailings will depart as follows:
From Southampton: 23:45
From West Cowes: 00:20
The scheduled 23:55 vehicle ferry will also sail as normal for fans travelling to East Cowes.
For runners taking part in the ABP Southampton Marathon on Sunday 3rd May, we will be adding an additional round trip early morning to accommodate those taking part.
Updated sailings will depart as follows:
From Southampton: 05:30
From West Cowes: 06:05
VEHICLE FERRY LIFTS
Are you due to travel on the Vehicle Ferry and need to use the lift on your crossing? Please call us on 023 8001 9192 in advance of your sailing for assistance.
If you have not called in advance, and need lift access, please inform check-in on arrival so we can load you on the appropriate deck to access the working lift.
