Critic praises Isle of Wight hotel

An Isle of Wight holiday destination has been praised by a critic, who stated that it offers visitors a fairytale weekend.
Kurt Ganzl told local news provider VentnorBlog that staying at the Enchanted Manor in Niton is "an event".
He explained that the accommodation offers much more than just bed-and-breakfast, due to the welcoming hosting skills of Ric and Maggie.
"TripAdvisor has got to stop comparing hotels such as this with Mary's 20 quid a night tidy sleepover," he commented.
Mr Ganzl added that the venue is a "deliciously over-the-top Las Vegas fairyland, glittering with more special effects than I have ever seen".
He even recommended the Enchanted Manor to those from further afield from the UK, advising both Europeans and those from the US to book an Isle of Wight holiday to stay in the accommodation.
Last month, Independent travel writer recommended Niton as a good Isle of Wight holiday destination, as it is less developed than a lot of other places on the island.
