Southampton bus services

First Hampshire operate services in the City Centre and out to Airport, Bassett Green, Bitterne, Boorley Green, Fareham, Gosport, Hamble, Harefield, Hedge End, Hospitals, Hursley Park, Lordshill, Lordswood, Midanbury, Millbrook, Netley, Nursling, Portswood, Rose Bowl, Shirley, Sholing, Thornhill, Totton, Townhill, University West End, Weston Estate and  Woolston.

Solent Blue Line: Blue Star service connects Southampton City Centre with Bassett, Bishopstoke, Bitterne, Botley, Chandlers Ford, Compton, Eastleigh, Eling, Fair Oak, Fawley, Hardley, Hedge End, Holbury, Hythe, Langley, Lord's Hill, Marchwood, North Baddesley, Northam, Otterbourne, Romsey, Rownhams, Shawford, Shirley, St Cross, Swaythling, Totton and Winchester.

Solent Blue Line: Night Star service operates on Friday & Saturday nights: N1 to Bassett, Chandler’s Ford, Otterbourne and Winchester; N2 to Portswood, Swaythling, North Stoneham, Eastleigh, Bishopstoke & Fair Oak; N9 to Marchwood, Applemore, Dibden Purlieu, Hythe & Fawley; N18 to Bitterne & Thornhill; N19 to Shirley & Millbrook, and on to Lord’s Hill & Aldermoor. All buses pick up from Leisure World.

Solent Blue Line: Solent Shuttle connects Southampton with Bitterne, Sholing, Hedge End, Portsmouth and Southsea.

Uni-Link operate the following routes (& they are not just for students!):

  • U1C: Airport to Dock Gate 4 via Highfield Campus, Central Station, City Centre and Town Quay; U9: Townhill Park to General Hospital via Portswood, Highfield, Taunton's College
  • U2B: Civic Centre to Crematorium via New College, Avenue Campus, Boldrewood, Highfield, Glen Eyre, Bassett Green
  • U2C: Crematorium to Civic Centre via Bassett Green, Glen Eyre, Highfield, Boldrewood, Avenue Campus, New College, Civic Centre
  • U1A: Dock Gate 4 to Airport via Town Quay, City Centre, Central Station, Highfield Campus
  • U1E: Airport - Eastleigh Bus Station via Dock Gate 4, Town Quay, Central Station, Civic Centre, The Avenue, New College, Portswood Junction, Highfield, Wessex Lane, Airport/Parkway
  • U6H: Dock Gate 4 to Royal South Hants & General Hospital via Dock Gate 4, Town Quay, Civic Centre, Royal South Hants Hospital, Portswood, Wessex Lane, Highfield
  • U6C: General Hospital & Royal South Hants to Dock Gate 4 via Highfield, Wessex Lane, Portswood, Royal South Hants, Civic Centre, Town Quay.
