Luggage & Bicycles

Due to limited luggage space, we can accept a maximum of two suitcases per person – no sails or sailboards – and one piece of hand luggage. Larger quantities or oversize items can be carried on the Vehicle Ferry parcel service provided by our partners, Acclaim Logistics.

Luggage trolleys are available at terminals but cannot be taken onboard. If assistance is needed, please inform a member of staff prior to boarding or get in touch ahead of your travel date. 

Bicycles can be brought onboard free of charge on our Southampton<>East Cowes (Vehicle Ferry) route. Cyclists are boarded via the lower car deck, Deck E, and should check-in and wait in the designated area for further instructions.

Bike racks are available on Red Jet 4, 6 and 7 for our Southampton<>West Cowes service. Folded cycles inside a cycle bag are also permitted on the Red Jet. There are cycle rack facilities available at Terminal 2, Southampton and at the West Cowes terminal. 

Electric scooters are not permitted on board or in terminal areas. This includes all aspects of e-scooter usage on site and includes the charging, transportation and storage of e-scooters.
