Isle of Wight Artisan Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide

With just days until Christmas finding the perfect last minute gift couldn't be simpler on the Isle of Wight. I've hand picked some talented independent Artisan makers scattered around the Island so you can easily do some special last minute shopping.

Here's a quick guide for unique presents this year. Products from each Artisan can be found in many independent retailers across the Island or through their online shops. Do check last postal dates though! Did you know that every time someone buys something from an independent maker they are likely do a happy dance in their studio too, or is that just me at Trotting Dog?!

Wyatt & Jack

Creating the coolest sustainable bags from broken bouncy castles and unwanted deckchair canvas since 2010, Wyatt & Jack are our go-to for innovative and ethical accessories. Their brand new shop has also just opened on Union Street in Ryde where you can meet the team and find out the story behind each bag.

Made by hand by Georgia and her makers in Bembridge Wyatt & Jack also promote an #inflatableamnesty. All the bags in this collection are made from salvaged inflatables and beach toys. Rescued by the team to divert as many as possible from landfill and our oceans. As each bag is created from whatever is reclaimed at the time there aren't many second chances so keep an eye on Wyatt & Jack's social media to grab things while you can. What could be a more perfectly purposeful Island gift.
