Borthwood Bluebells

It's bluebell season again!!!

Yes, you know what they are. Those lovely bluey-purple flowers that look like bells. Please all ignore those horrible imposters, the Spanish ones, and go for a walk in ancient woodland and look for drifts of wild bluebells that should all be drooping over on one side. The smell is truly glorious.

You should also see other wild flowers like the white wood anemone and maybe little cute light blue forget-me-nots too. We like to go to a National Trust wood down the road called Borthwood Copse, just up from Apse Heath or down from Queen Bower.
