From the 20th October to 3rd November Blackgang Chine host a brand-new horror event, Wicked Nights. Demolition site, The Cursed Mill will be opening its doors every evening from 6pm - 10pm.

The Cursed Mill: A Terrifying Tour

This is a high-intensity experience that will leave your hair on end and your stomach turning. You'll join a  'Live Action' tour through the demolition site which has been designed to terrify the unexpecting guests. Ghastly odours, strobe lighting, loud and sudden noises, darkness and close encounters are all to be expected in this mill of terror! This tour is not for the faint hearted - it will leave you full of fear... will you brave the curse?

Hall of Horrors

This is no ordinary Hall of Mirrors, this is a Hall of Mirrors with a horrific twist! Jumpy spooks, topsy-turvy rooms and optical illusions appear as the hall comes alive at dusk.

Ghost Train

Guest attraction, the Touring Ghost Train promises to be a journey of spooks, screams, jumps and much more. 

Freaky Fair

Expect a range of games, activities and entertainment in this tongue-and-cheek big top -  the spooky hub of this crazy event. The Ringmaster magician with impulsive horror magic plus the Possession Doll who is an aerial an contortion artist will star at this event. Watch in awe (or disgust!)

Slaughter Slide

Take the scariest slide of your life. Expect fun and fear all in one!

Getting to Blackgang Chine is pretty straightforward from Southampton.

On foot - hop aboard a Red Jet Hi-Speed passenger sailing from Southampton to West Cowes (it takes 23-25 minutes). On arrival in West Cowes, Southern Vectis operate frequent buses from West Cowes to Newport (service 1). Change at the bus station in Newport for service 6 to Blackgang. Taxis are also available outside the East & West Cowes terminals. For car hire, we recommend Enterprise - they will pick you up from either terminal if you tell them your arrival time.

By car - catch an hourly Red Funnel vehicle ferry sailing from Southampton to East Cowes, the crossing takes 55-60 minutes. On arrival, head south along Dover Rd, take Castle St to Well Rd/A3021, follow A3021, A3054 and A3020 to Niton Rd in Rookley. Continue on Niton Rd to Godshill, continue on Appleford Rd and then tke B3399 to Blackgang Chine (PO38 2HN). The journey will take 30-35 minutes.
