The annual Royal Isle of Wight County Show is a fantastic day out for all the family, combining entertainment and fun with the opportunity to enjoy many aspects of Island country life and farming traditions. This event is on 25 June 2017.


This is the show where cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry come first in what is a day of non-stop entertainment, competitions, activities and attractions.

Small Animal Farm
Bring the family to our wonderful show farm where children can handle small farm animals such as lambs, piglets, calves and goats.

Field to Fork
Hear from local farmers about the journey of our food from farm to plate. Meet the growers and producers and taste local foods. You will be able to try your hand at traditional skills like butter making.

Getting to the Royal Isle of Wight County Show is easy from Southampton

On foot - catch the Red Jet to West Cowes. From here, Southern Vectis operate frequent buses (service 1 to Newport ) - please alight outside the Northwood County Showground. Taxis are also available outside the West Cowes Red Jet terminal. For car hire, we recommend Enterprise - they will pick you-up from the Red Jet if you tell them your arrival time.

By car - catch the ferry to East Cowes and then head south on Dover Road. Take the A3021 and A3054 to Newport and then head north on the A3020. It will take about 20 minutes.
