The aim of On the Water is to get more people out on the water with their family and friends, and enjoy boating and watersports as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The event will be hosted at Cowes Yacht Haven, starting at 10am and gives visitors the opportunity to try Paddle boarding, Dinghy & Yacht Sailing, Jet Skis, Kayaking, RIB rides, Windsurfing, and much more!

Demonstrations (subject to weather) include Jet Pack demo, Man Overboard retrieval, RNLI events, HM Coastguard helicopter fly past or try your hand at paper yacht racing. The event also showcases respected Island boat builders and you can learn how to sail, understand the water and find out how to buy & maintain a boat. Also, discover what The National Coastwatch Institute, HM Coastguard and The Maritime Volunteer Service do. Learn too about job opportunities in the marine sector, including case study talks.
