The World Village Project team who organise MondoMix have a long history of bringing diverse and creative music and musicians to the Isle of Wight going back to the first Didgeridoo Festival held at Calbourne Water Mill in 2009. Their idea is recognised by Arts Council England who provided funding to establish the MondoMix Festival as an annual event on our Island.

This small, friendly live music festival is hosted at the historic Calbourne Water Mill. Set in 35 acres of stunning rural landscape the site contains one of the oldest working water mills in the country dating back to the Domesday Book.

The MondoMix is on the Mill's campsite with its breathtaking views across the Solent. You can take a morning stroll down to the Mill and visit its attractions, cafe and museums and it's all included in our ticket price.

MondoVille can be found in the orchard and is curated by AnticEarthworks and supervised by Johnny ‘Chief’ Murby from his famous Lady Tipi. You’ll also find Jonathan Cope’s Magical Musical Emporium, Serenity Sound, The Jam Pot Collective, Hampshire and IW Wildlife Trust, Jim’s Woodcraft, Weaving with Frances and Johny Bongo’s amazing Kinetic Bongotrone 4000. Bring your own instruments and join us around the fire in the evenings or just sit around and enjoy the atmosphere.
