This month the Island’s indoor attractions have reopened, restaurants, pubs and cafes can welcome you inside and events are ready to give you the fun days out you've been missing. Robin Hill is welcoming back the very popular Sky-High Night Glow event happening every evening between 29th – 31 May. Not only will you be treated to a spectacular night glow display, but if you’re lucky you might even see the balloons in action as they attempt a mass launch from site. You can also relax and soak up the atmosphere with live music in the Valley and Woodland Ponds.
Delve into the world of imagination at Blackgang Chine and watch the Dinos and Cowboys go head to head in the ultimate popularity battle! Start your day by meeting the newest member of the Dino team and assist with his training, then head into the Jurassic Hunt for a fully immersive, live-action experience. Over in Cowboy Town take in the adrenaline-inducing live performances, play your part in the showdowns and dance away at the Mariachi fiesta! Whose side will you be on? Dinos vs Cowboys happening between 31st May – 4th June.
Appuldurcombe House welcomes Adventure Out for the first time on the Island. The new and exciting games concept offers outdoor, escape room style games. The Adventure game is set in 1817 and follows the story of the Royal Prince Regent. Participants have just one hour to explore Appuldurcombe House and the grounds to find clues and evidence of a potential assassination of the prince. A guaranteed fun day out for the family.
Head to Ventnor Park for the very first post-lockdown open air theatre performance of Romeo and Juliet happening 29th – 30th May. Created by The Handlebards and introduced by Ventnor Exchange, this laugh-out loud performance is a great way to reintroduce yourself to live performances in the open air.
