Red Funnel's Booking Guarantee

We recognise in the current climate, travel plans might change at very short notice, which can make it difficult when planning a trip to see friends and family, or for a day out or break away.

To allow you to book with confidence, we’ve extended our Booking Guarantee for any private vehicle or foot passenger bookings made between 4 January 2021 and 31 January 2022, for travel up to 31 October 2022.

This gives you the following options if your plans change because of Covid-19*

  • Free amendments to any future dates^
  • Full refund if you cancel in advance of your outward travel
  • Option to put your booking on hold as a credit


^No admin fees for amendments, fare differences will still apply where applicable.

If your travel plans have changed, and you need to make changes to your booking, please use our online amendment / cancellation form.

*Our booking guarantee covers customers affected by the following Covid-related reasons:

  • A positive case within your household or a household you were planning to visit
  • A change in national restrictions that prevents your trip from happening
  • A Track and Trace notification that means you must now isolate during the period of your planned trip

Please note: the Booking Guarantee relates to our extended options for amends and cancellations for customers whose travel plans change because of Covid-19, it does not guarantee booked space on specific sailings as these are always subject to availability. Not applicable for third party or additional products such as accommodation bookings.

Bookings made between 4 January 2022 and 31 January 2022
